Hello, I’m Sally, welcome.
I have experience of helping people with many different personal problems-anxiety, depression, feelings of helplessness, abuse of different kinds, physical and emotional. My past clients have included people who couldn’t make sense of their lives, some who have found it hard to step outside of their front door feeling like they had lost control of their lives. I have helped adults of all ages who suffered from difficult or abusive families.
How I work
To begin with I will listen to you. As I get to know you and the difficulties you face, I will help you to feel that you have a safe place to say anything, without being judged in any way. As you learn to trust me, together we can find ways to deal with the causes of those difficulties and how to cope. I will help you to make the most of your own potential to deal with life, even if you don’t think you can. I will help you to believe and trust in yourself.
Appointments available Mondays and Tuesdays. I offer a person-centered approach tailored to your particular needs. I will support, nurture and enable you to make your own decisions about your life.
As an experienced counsellor I will offer you the opportunity to talk about past or present difficulties in a confidential, professional and non-judgemental way. This safe space will give you the opportunity to explore personal issues and identify solutions to your difficulties.
I have more than 15 years experience of working with people of all ages to manage and understand feelings around relationship difficulties, grief, depression, anxiety trauma and abuse and issues concerning self-confidence.
