For years, I battled the same pressures, turning to alcohol to cope, until I realised I had the power to make different choices, ones that worked for me. I know firsthand the toll that self-doubt, pressure, and unhealthy coping mechanisms can take on your mental health and relationships. Having struggled with these challenges and the constant pressure to always perform, I’ve learned that recovery is possible, not just from these habits, but from the fear of failing to meet others’ expectations.
As a person-centred counsellor, I focus on helping you build self-awareness and discover who you truly are, how you got to where you are today, and what drives the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
