Helen Clark – Psychotherapist

My background is in the field of psychology and mental health. My approach to counselling is integrative. I use a combination of methods and theories to help clients through their difficulties. This includes person-centred therapy, attachment, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and compassion focused therapy.

I aim to support clients develop an understanding of how their difficulties came about in order to collaboratively develop a suitable way forward from which people will gain long lasting benefit.

Currently I have avaialblity at the matlock therapy centre on Wednesdays 9-4pm

Experience

I am qualified to work with young people and adults over the age of 18 with any problem. I work with both individual and couples from different age groups and ethnic backgrounds. I am passionate about creating a non-judgmental, confidential and empathic service for many of life’s difficulties.
